Betty Huotari, professional organizer, started her
own company, Logical Placement LLC in 2001.
This is a full service company that specializes in residential, business
and personal organizing.
Betty helps to guide and educate clients about basic principles of organizing
by offering direction and working hands-on with her clients. Since 2003,
she has spent many years on the board of the National Association of
Professional Organizers - Southeast Michigan Chapter and is currently
serving as their president. Betty also knows the importance of education,
so she had become involved on the National side and is volunteering and
continues to work on many educational programs that the National Association
of Professional Organizers have distributed internationally.
Her Bachelors in Business and 10+ years of experience in the computer
industry -- managing a territory that included Michigan, Northern Indiana,
and Northern Ohio -- have taught Betty the value of good organizing skills
from the client's point of view. She has honed her problem solving, time
management, paper organizing, and space planning skills in the real world
-- and now shares these talents with her private organizing clients.
Betty operates according to a simple three-part philosophy -- to listen
to the client, find out what are their largest problem areas are and
then recommend a simple solution.
Betty's greatest organizing strength
is her ability to find the easiest possible solution for her clients
-- "I find that if I keep things
simple, then they are more likely to incorporate it into their everyday
life."
In her own words -- "It is a great feeling to share
my gift with my clients and see how happy I have made them feel.
Some have even cried
after we have completed a project because they didn't think it was
possible."
Betty believes “people will find that by de-cluttering their lives
and giving every item a home, they will find a new sense of freedom.”
